01:19 pm: Oddness while sleeping

I had an odd dream... It involved a friend of mine from Highschool.. Michelle.. an ex who comes across gay & ends up getting vaporated (not cuz he's gay).. and summer school (non-remedial).. Programs based on scouting.. I wasn't allowed to be in the class I wanted to be cuz I was over qualified & oddly, Stephen was in it (the class).. & they were trying to upgrade me.. & my sister & my mom called to babysit while I am here trying to sort out this class thing & Rob's sitting there expectign a ride to work cuz he'd taken the morning off to see his son (Stephen) into his first day of school..

I'll see if I can work up more details later.. so this actually has some sence to it.. and a time line..

11:00 pm: What's up!

Now, I'm going over what's coming up.. figured I make it two posts than go on in one post forever & ever..

So, tomorrow I gotta to some housework catchup.. dusting is the priority, then laundry, then vacuuming and sweeping.. We're hoping that Steve (friend of Rob's upstairs) will be able to pop down tomorrow and to put in the last ceiling fan up (we've had ones put up in each bedroom by Steve) in the living/dining room... It's probably me it just that little bit cooler..
We have noticed that the one put in the second bedroom doesn't spin as fast sa the one in the master bedroom, which sucks, considering that there's where most of the computer equipment is..

This Wednesday is Stephen's last lacrosse game & I am going up for it.. I'll prolly be meeting Rob either at his office or Finch station (the most northern subway stop).. I hope they do well..

I don't know what Rob's got planned for the weekend other than grocery shopping.. I'll guess we'll see.. Possibly reworking or reorganizing the home office..

I see my doc on the 28th.. Which is also Dave's birthday..

Rob & I are going to Montreal for about a week.. Rob's parents have a cottage in Lachute PQ that we're going to.. Not sure the day we're leaving the 5th or 6th.. we're taking the late bus home on the 10th so I'm home fer my appointment at the Environmental Health Clinic at WCH..

Next thing I have specifically on my calender is wyera's BBQ party.. Yay!

10:33 pm: Update!

It's been a while since I've updated properly.. Other than the dead bird, it's been since late May..

I had my Cousin's Wedding on the 2nd of June.. it was nice.. she's a guide leader so she had an honour guard.. that was kinda cool, but I'd have had the kids in formal uniforms not those damn casual shirts & sweat pants.. So not appropriate for a wedding.. I think Dave might be interested in that idea.. having a colour party from his scouting youth.. at his wedding - God know when that will happen.. Heh - I've been asked to be one of the groomsmen *grin*

I got a message from Women's College Hospital here in Toronto from their Environmental Health Clinic. It's a unique multidisciplinary clinic promoting environmental health, and to improve health care for people with environment-linked conditions such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia and Multiple Chemical Sensitivities. Yay! So my appointment is in July.. So much fer a 6 months waiting time - gotta love name dropping * smirk*

Last weekend Rob's parents decided to go to Detroit forth weekend.. We were going ot have Stephen down for the weekend as a result.. BUT, Brian, the other son of theirs who live in his parent's basement was going to be in Vancouver on a business trip (I thought it odd over the w/e, but hey.. *shrug*) The issue there being that Rob's parents have two small dogs who don't travel well.. so they needed someone to watch the dogs.. Well, one of the dogs likes to pee - everywhere, especially in new locations.. So Rob & I ended up going up there for the weekend.. the dogs missed their 'mom' & 'dad' and were very active in the evening & overnight.. as a result, Rob ended up sleeping on the couch downstairs.. While I got the small double bed upstairs (I think it may even be a 3/4) all to myself.. Stephen & I played cards both evenings, while during the Day, Rob & I were out & about.. & God! was I exhausted by the end of the weekend.. and we got ALL our laundry done, which we brought up there is the new luggage Rob bought up on Friday.. Which will be nice for our trip to Montreal. So we've got furniture & stuff for our balcony which is nice :)

I went to Stephen's lacrosse Game last Monday Got to see him play goal.. They won, so he was happy.. I went to the Wednesday game too, but the other team only had 4 guys show up - need 6 to play.. so the game was forfeit.. they grabbed players from kids who just played or were coming up.. to play.. unfortunately they then lost the 'fun' game.. the comments was that since it didn't count was that the guys on Stephen's team didn't bother to try.. But there's 2 more game... this Monday at 9.30.. & the finals on Wednesday..

Rob & I recently upgraded our cable to have a PVR box.. a personal video recorder.. It's a cable box with a HD that can record up to 50 hours of time & it's saved in digital, so it's just as good quality as when it was originally broadcast in digital, unlike a tape recording. I've already recorded The Lab with Leo for Rob & Numb3rs for me.. He's watched his shows I haven't watched mine.. this will be useful esp this Wednesday to record CNTM on City at 8 while I am up in Markham :)

Rob spent the weekend just past setting me up on his laptop which is a faster machine.. He's going to snagg my drive from my desktop & pop it into an upright drive case & attach it to the laptop.. He's also going to get an external dvd burner.. cuz the CD player on here, which it's supposed to burn CD's, only reads 'em.. so he's gonna get a new drive.. but hey, I got a better machine..

He is such a sweetheart!

Oh & I put up a cork board for him :)

09:35 pm: Freaky.

Rob asked me to pick up some papers from the printer & put them on his desk cuz the B/W printer's at my desk.. He was logged into his home pc from his Dad's.. not an uncommon practice.. I looked at the first page & it was talking about computer induced suicide.. Which kinda threw me, so I was reading it & it was talking about problems with Zone Alarm..

So, I'm reading this as I walk into his office & just as I am putting the papers on his desk, I look up at his monitor.. it's on.. & it's surfin the net! I am serious! The mouse is moving around, clicking on stuff & it's going to different web pages.. I just stared at it for a moment.. Then realized what he'd said.. & what I'd mention that he is logged into his home pc from his Dad's.. So I stopped being freaked out so much, but it was a bit of a surprise..

Onto other news, wyera is stopping by my parent's place to pick up my vacuum that I fergot last weekend.. & my sewing stuff, cuz she had a sewing machine that I can borrow & I'm sure she'll probably be interested in some of my patterns :) We're gonna hang out on Friday - she's the day off.. & Rob just notified me that he might take advantage of the fact that I have company & a bit of extra work on Friday.. If he does, more girl talk with wyera if not, more quality time with Rob :)

06:29 pm: Today's an okay day healthwise.. I'm a bit sore from bringing the pop (see next post) home from the store, even tho Scott did most of the heavy lifting..

I do have this odd pain in my chest.. I noticed it yesterday & started taking my puffer, not sure if it was my asthma or something else.. I think it's in the "something else" Category.. puffers aren't seeming to help it.. & since there's no swelling to indicate an inflammation or pulled muscle, when I see my GP on Thursday (see next post) I'll mention it to her..

Not too much going on tonight tho..

This weekend is my cousin Twylla's Bridal shower ( wedding's in June)

Next weekend is Karen's birthday - a friend of mine from work.. & on Sunday I'm gonna be seeing the musical We will Rock You with my mom..

04:33 pm: Easter w/e

Stephen came for the w/e on Thursday evening & we just hung out & stuff.. On Friday, while Rob went to work, Stephen & I went to the movies.. We saw Premonition, the Sandra Bullock movie.. I liked it, Stephen said I was better than he expected it to be.. & then he comments that the guy who pays the husband is always getting killed off.. cuz in the trailer for Premonition you know the guys dies, but in the action movies that Stephen has seen him in, he dies & he was killed off of Charmed, the tv series he was ion... I wonder if he's gonna get killed off of Nip & Tuck..

Saturday Stephen got to go to the Hockey game - Leafs/Canadiens & Rob & I stayed home cuddled on the couch watching the game.. I am glad we won, but not glad that the Islanders won on Sunday.. Leafs are out of the playoffs.. :(

But.. Yesterday was a good day.. Rob, Stephen & I went out to Oshawa for my family Easter Dinner (Rob's parents were in Detroit).. Mom had bought perogies & cabbage rolls for dinner.. but had ham & potatoes (scalloped tho - uck) & other more traditional Eastery type foods.. (we're British by decent, not Ukrainian).. the girls enjoyed the egg hunt.. Kaden didn't quite get into it.. but he's not even 2, so I can cut him some slack.. Stephen did the hunt for Cassie down in the basement of my parents cuz last year she said it was too easy.. she said it was much better this year..

Paigey came in with a new t-shirt on the from said " I am going to be" & then on the back it said "the best big sister ever" That's was Tim & Crystal way of telling us that she was pregnant - YAY! She's due in October.. the 19th I believe I was told..

So with the good news, everyone was in a great mood :)


However, I am paying for it today.. I'm hurting pretty much all over.. hyped up on T3's.. & tired to all get out

I'm going to wait til Stephen in picked up in the next half hour or so by his grandparents, then go back & lay down.. & Yay - I can take another T3 now, which is good cuz the pain is creeping back up the scale, which is not good :(

btw, any suggestions for left over Easter jelly beans? Besides eating them, or giving them to Stephen??

The Campbell's can be such twits.. Between Jamie's rudeness over the cowboy hat on Friday, Meagan's compriminsing attitude about bedtime & Catherine's snipping cuz I didn't answer text messages I didn't get, I have no clue who is the worst.. At least Lindsay was relatively well behaved recently.

Needless to say, I didn't leave that house in a good mood this evening.. I mean, I'm helpin' Cath out, so the first thing out of her mouth does not have to be a bitch at me.. *eyeroll* I DID leave the door unlocked for her & I DID leave the light on.. Apparently the kids changed that on me - still no reason to be bitchy.

& I'll prolly get a call in the morning ( like AM, before noon, cuz she doesn't think that I sleep later than she does ) asking why I peeled off the way I did.. like I need her attitude.

I'm still upset about missing the concert too. :(

06:22 am: *Real* entry

So, here I am, almost 6.30 in the morning.. & I went to bed at 2.. took meds, did yoga, released some endorphins, & I am still awake.. well.. not quite.. I did doze a bit.. not really asleep, but not completely awake.. all in all, not very helpful. No, Rob, I'm not gonna call you.. :P

Cath & I went to Sams Club & Costco last night.. wasted trip pretty much for me.. at Sams Club I got Oatmeal to go bars.. & some shampo & conditioner.. but I was so excited to see Fruit Fusion that I didn't look to see that it wasn't fer my hair type, so it's going back.. & they had no souvlaki :( Cath, on the other hand spent a small fortune.. So then, off to Costco.. again, no Souvlaki.. AND they've discontinued my toilet paper :( which was my primary reason for going there.. so while Cath's stuff isi goin thru at Costco, the girl mentioned after ringing stuff in that the membership is past due.. *eyeroll* thanks mom, so I renew it.. $100 plus tax, uck.. so other than the membership I bought nothing there.. & Cath dropped almost $80 in food stuffs. Needless to say, I am not happy with Costco.. & overall with the shopping trip yesterday..

Then when we get back, Meagan tells me she doens't want her bday present.. I don't knwo why I bother.

One of my best friends kids is "becoming a woman" if ya know what I mean.. and I found out that she doesn't know what's gonna happen to her body.. I gave her a quick health lesson on the female reproductive system, but I'm gonna grab a book & stop by this afternoon to explain it a bit better & with proper visuals, not my cheesey diagram. My best friend had no problems with my discussing this with the young lady, but got a little huffy when I mentioned that i knew more.. Well, because of my endometriosis, I do.. I prolly know alot more about how the body functions cuz of all my health issues.. I'm not saying I'm the be all & end all.. & I'm not saying there are things about health that she knows that I don't - I know there is.. For example, I know piddly-squat about arthritis, but she does..

So, from there, I'll be heading to the Y to walk with Kaden.. I emailed my sister so that she'll bring a larger stroller, not that flimsey umbrella one that I have to stoop to push around the track & to call me if she doesn't have it. That way I can bring the one from the house.. & not kill my back..

Friday I will be helping mom with the kids.. She'll have Paige as of Thursday evening, but on Friday morning she'll aquire Kyah & Kaden as well.. the girls should be able to play well together..

Tomorrow night Cath's talking about going out instead of just staying in.. that, of course, depends on how tired she is.. & how I'm feeling.. I also want to get my hair done this weekend.. I'm getting roots & the grey is coming through.. :(

Monday Is NIN in London!!! Yay!!! I am looking forward to it.. our hotel fucked up & cancelled our reservation.. Good thing Rob called to confirm.. so instead of thsi nice hotel, with some amenitys, we've got a Days Inn - at least its a bed.. & then when we get back int othe city.. greek food & a hockey game.. Leafs vs Habs.. so I'll be in my Leafs Jersey & Rob in his Habs shirt *eyeroll*

Goddamit. I hate my Body - my IBS is acting up.. 6 movements in less than 24 hours.
& the drugs are fucking everythign else up.. *sigh*

This is what I get for sleeping in.. Wide awake at 5am.. mind you, pain is playing a part in it.. & It's too early to call Rob.. Too early to call Cath.. Too late to call Mike.. Nobody's up at this time to talk to :( Even everyone on my MSN is away.. Mind you if I'm still up in an hour, I can call Rob - He'll be up! His son's got a field trip - Snow boarding. So, Stephen's out the door fer like 6:30.. or up at 6:30.. can't remember which.. which means Rob'll be up at 6 I'm sure.. Hopefully, tho, *I* will be asleep.

I hate pain.. I hate Insomnia.. I hate Insomnia caused by excessive tiredness..
I'm awake, yet I'm tired.. Yawning my face off.. go figure..



*sigh* .. Off to check out the pharmacy..

Jeff's over from England & staying with Cath.. we ended up watching Die Hard With a Vengence tonight.. Cath had forgotten almost the whole damn movie.. we ended up gabbin fer a while about relationships & stuff.. She kicked me out about 2am.. She wants to go out tomorrow night downtown Toronto to a club.. dunno if we (Rob & I) can do that cuz of Stephen.. *shrug* Rob's coming out tomorrow shortly after lunch time so I'd better get my ass into bed..

And I still have the munchies.. :( I'm thinking something sweet - might do the peaches & ice cream thing again.. I am SO surprised how long that Vanilla Ice Cream has lasted in my freezer.. normally I eat the pint in 1-2 sittings.. I'm shocked.

I had a good time at the cottage.. only snag was that while we were at there, Cath's Subpump malfunctiosn & we came home to a flood in the back basement bedroom.. Not good.. so I spent several hours helping her start cleaning up that mess.. & I'm gonna feel it tomorrow - I already do..

I just hope I'm functional to morrow for 2 reasons, my Rhumetologist appointment, & I told Lindsay I'd take her to the library.. OI.

Today was a pretty easy going day..
Had a Dr's appointment with my GP this afternoon.. I picked up Dad from work.. then, ended up over at Caths & missed my Yoga.. her & I went out to Business Depot & she got a new printer.. this ones's a 6-in-1 combo.. with fax & scanner & photocopier & stuff too..

I dunno if I coulda handled much more.. been sore & tender all day.. :(
