I had some time doing laundry today & I did up my own holiday cards & I also have 11 wishes 21 wishes to go out.. All of them are Christmas Cards, but they are going everywhere, locally, nationally within Canada, the US, and across Europe..
I received another response my address requests, so that's another to do! :)
I just need to get more stamps!! :)
Just as a note.. I will not be collecting any further wishes to do, unless either a) I am being sent a wish by someone new, b) I receive a wish I wasn't expecting (reciprocating), or c) I get all these wishes done ans still have time & money to spare

Hey all.. I've been doing this fer a few years now.. Funds are more limited this year, so unfortunately, I doubt I'll be able to ship much out country.. but I do grant wishes, & I hope I get some back.. Now I've already made a few promises & not to worry, I will be getting to them..
SO, on with the wishes
Wishes for the Community
- Medicalert - dog tag necklace - see my facebook stylepix for examples - I currently wear a stainless steel chain & pendant & the red is long gone.
- Click on the Hunger/Breast Cancer/Rainforest/Child Health/Literacy/Rainforest/Animal Rescue site
- Grover stickers.. not just Sesame Street, but specifically Grover
- Snail mail.. be it a letter or a seasonal card (I do the Christmas thing, but not everyone does)
- Yoga Tapes/DVD's.. no Sun Salutations tho.. but a 60 or 90 minutes session is just as good as 30.. :)
- Sewing supplies..(sewing machine was on my list last year, but I got it for my birthday) for example, Guterman (sp) or Coates brand thread, stitching needles, bobbins, material, plus size patterns.
- Recipes.. 2 kinds.. A: Suggestions for microwave friendly dinners - I am in single room with a microwave & fridge, but I do not wish to intrude on the lady who is kindly renting me her spare room (thanks

So any dinners/meals & such I can make in the microwave are great.. & stuff that's not expensive & please don't tell me to eat the frozen dinners at the store, cuz I'm allergic to most of those & have restricted freezer space. B: awesome cookie recipes..
- Coins.. I know there are collector coins in Canada & the States, so those would be great, esp the recent Canadian ones, plus any foreign currency, preferably coinage..
- Plushies.. any type of stuffed toy
- a Magic wand to heal my battered body
I was disappointed that I did not get thank yous for gifts I sent, esp the DVD I sent to England.. So for those whose wish I am able to grant, esp anything more than a card, or something going overseas, I prefer a thank you to me directly or on my wish list, not in the thank you community.. :) I don't subscribe to that community so I wont get it..
Request about tags..include your country & continent.. I dunno about others, but I search by country & for those over the pond, by continent. Put on box of books in laundry room..
Finish tying up desk
Organize Files
DL Cdn music for Jessica in FL. - - In progress
Find out how to get files off the DL server. - Talked to Rob, he has to set up a shared drive
Drop off Rent cheque

July 1st, 200711:02 pm: Canada Day..
I spent today discussing this situation with my mother.. I called my friend Bob - got a third person perception & he agrees with Rob that my mom's a bit out there, a bit excessive.. Rob & I talked on his way home from work & well, unfortunately this issue just jumped my stress level again.. We were gonna go to Ontario Place for the Fireworks, but I figured that might not be a good idea with my body twinging at me..
Rob & I went to Home Depot and went out fer dinner.. got an additional fan for the spare room as the computers keep it warmer than the rest of the apartment especially when the ceiling fan isn't as fast as the other two..
We watched the Canada/Chile U-20 soccer game.. We lost.. :(
I taped what was broadcast here of the Diana concert.. on the PVR.. The concert on Saturday for the earth, I've got 2 hours of *that* concert to be taped as well.. I have most of what's coming up ion the next week set to be recorded.. Thursday morning, before we leave I am going to have to make sure CNTM is on the list (list only goes a week ahead) before we leave for Mtl..
Rob was exhausted & went to bed about 9.30.. I, myself, will be heading to the shower & bed after I finish this post..

I used to have a site that listed all kinds of Canadian artists.. Music, Art, Drama, etc.. Does anyone have a recommendation for a site like that? I am looking primarily for Canadian musicians & singers & such..Tags: canada, help, music
